Originally built in the 1980s, this home boasted incredible views over Inch Beach, but the design didn’t take full advantage of its stunning surroundings. When the new owners purchased the property, they envisioned a modern, functional, and energy-efficient home that fully embraced its unique location.

We took on the challenge of transforming the house, creating a space that not only highlights the views but also brings the home up to modern standards of comfort and sustainability.

Key features of the transformation include:

• Open-Plan Living with a View: Internal walls were removed to create a bright, open-plan layout that maximises the panoramic views over Inch Beach. A new verandah was added, seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor spaces.

• Enhanced Functionality: The existing attached garage was converted into a much-needed utility space, a second bathroom, and a study, ensuring the home meets the family’s everyday needs.

• Energy Efficiency Upgrade: The house underwent a complete energy upgrade, including an air-to-water heating system, MVHR, airtightness improvements, attic insulation, and solar panels. This upgrade improved the BER rating from D2 to an impressive A2.​
